Worthy Wellness and Consulting is registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders of Southern Africa. As a registered entity we charge Medical Aid rates and fairly price our consulting fees for individual who wish to pay cash.

Assessments

There are various assessments that are done with clients; they can either be subjective or objective, verbal, written or both. A comprehensive intake interview is compulsory before intervention. Ecometric assessments may be required for evidence based therapeutic purposes. Medical rates apply or reduced rates for clients who wish to pay cash.

Individual & Couple Therapy

Each session is 45-60 minutes and medical rates apply. Should the client wish to use cash, sessions will be provided at the reduced rate of R400.00 per session and is payable before or on the day of the client’s session.

Family Therapy

Each session is 90-120 minutes and medical rates apply. Should the client wish to use cash, sessions will be provided at the reduced rate of R600.00 per session (or a gazetted rate of R120.00 per person in the session for an hour) and is payable before or on the day of the client’s session.

Group Sessions

Groups consist of 6-12 members depending on the type of group. A reduced cash rate can be arranged otherwise normal medical rates apply.

Trauma Debriefing Sessions for staff

Trauma debriefing sessions with staff can be arranged with groups and follow-up one –on-one sessions need to be conducted to ensure that staff members do not need additional support as we do not experience loss and trauma in the same way. Medical Aid Rates apply alternatively cash payments or EFT payments can be made to the account.

Cancellation Policy

Schedules appointments should be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. A client will be expected to pay for an appointment in full, if the client failed to cancel the appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled session, which will still be invoiced. If you missed the appointment it can be rescheduled.
