Personal Counselling and Support

Welcome to our Counselling Centre. We recognize that everyone has a story to tell and every story is worth listening to. Sometimes we all need extra support when we feel overwhelmed by our difficulties. The fact that you are on this page might mean that you are contemplating getting counselling which is a first step to acknowledging and embracing some parts of your life that need attention.  Nkosazana Dlamini who is also a Director of Worthy Wellness and Consulting  runs a private practice in Nkandla. The services she offers are not limited to clients in Nkandla because of web-based assessment technologies and web-based communication. She is a registered Social Worker with The South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) of Southern Africa and adheres to the principles and ethics of both of these professional bodies. Nkosazana is currently a Debt Counsellor Student who recognises the role of debt in personal growth and refers to registered Debt counsellors who will be in a position to tackle this socio-economic issue which often affects caregivers with a high burden of care within their families and within the workplace.

I had been in two different sessions and always dropped out because I thought it was no use as it hurt more. This one was different, I discovered things about myself that I wasn’t aware of, it was equally painful to the other sessions but the sessions with her made me understand that keeping your sadness inside is what destroys you most but sharing is what takes away the burden you carry.

She has helped me and my siblings so much after the loss of my parents, we were discouraged and had no direction in life, we thought we were going to amount to nothing. We thank God for her, she taught us how to approach life with a positive attitude and explained to us that bad decisions result in bad consequences. She was there for us emotionally and spiritually. Today I’m a wise young lady whose able to make informed decisions

I met Nkosazana in 2008 when I was going through a tough time in my life. Through pscyhological support my brother and I received I am the man I am today. Nkosazana managed to take me out of drugs and took me back to school after three months of not going to school. Now I am a husband to my beautiful wife, a father to be soon and own a home. Our Practice Philosophy

We believe that what the most important aspect of  therapy is the recognition of the human spirit and its ability to heal.

We therefore use the  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy  together with ecosystems intervention together to enable the client to live their lives with  minimal dependency on the therapist. Family Therapy is focused in systems therapy that enables families to thrive in their societies.

The above therapeutic models help our clients to look at what is Right and how to use it for their personal development
